CAMİŞ RECEIVES ISO 14001:2004 CERTIFICATE

• Camiş Madencilik A.Ş. has been assessed and certified by SGS as meeting the requirement of ISO 14001:2004 in December 2006.

CAMİŞ INVESTS IN NEW PRODUCTION CAPACITIES IN BILECIK

• The investment of Bilecik Glass Raw Materials Production Facilities, the foundations of which were laid in 2005 July, has been completed with the commissioning of Limestone/Dolomite Grinding Line of 30 tph in 2006 February and Quartz Sand Production Line of 40 tph in March 2006.
• Upon completion in 2007 the facility will fulfill, quartz sand, limestone and dolomite requirements of Flat Glass and Glass Packaging factories in Yenişehir Region and limestone and dolomite requirements of Glassware Group Factories in Eskişehir as well as the raw material requirements of Fiberglass Factory in Gebze.
• In parallel with new investments by Flat Glass and Glass Packaging Groups, extensions to the facility which increase the quartz sand production capacity to 90 tph and include 10 tph Fine Grinding Line have been planned in 2006 and the foundations have been laid in October 2006

• Camiş Madencilik A.Ş. has taken its place among the second biggest 500 industrial corporations in Turkey at a survey carried out by İstanbul Chamber of Industry to determine the biggest 1000 industrial corporations in Turkey

Camiş Madencilik A.S. received OHSAS 18001:2007 Certificate

• Camis Madencilik A.S. received “OHSAS 18001:2007 Certificate” following the registration audit which was carried out by “SGS Supervise Gozetme Etut Kontrol Servisleri A.S.” on 10-11 July, 2008.
• The purpose of the Company’s Occupational Health and Safety Policy is to contribute to set a healthy and safe work environment in the mine sites and processing plants and moreover to constitute “Health and Safety Culture” within the Company.

Camiş Madencilik A.S. purchased 50% of the shares of the R.K. Vijenac d.o.o. Limestone Quarry

• “Camiş Madencilik A.S.” and “Fabrika Cemanta Lukavac, a subsidiary of Asamer Group” purchased 100% of the shares of the R.K. Vijenac d.o.o. Limestone Quarry from Cantonal Agency for Privatization, Tuzla in Bosnia Herzegovina, on November 17, 2010.
• After the acquisition of the company, Camiş Madencilik A.S. holds 50% of the shares of the R.K. Vijenac d.o.o.

Camiş Madencilik A.S. has received the achievement award given by Sisecam Industrial Relations Directorate

• Occupational accident rate of Camiş Madencilik A.S. has been decreased dramatically in the years of 2009 and 2010 with respect to investments and renovations that were made. Camis Madencilik A.S. has been granted the achievement award by Sisecam Industrial Relations Directorate in consequence of low occupational accident rate.
